From embedded leadership to targeted engagements, scoped around where you actually are.
For when strategy exists but doesn't connect to what teams actually build. We redesign the full operating system: planning cadence, decision structures, prioritization, cross-functional alignment.
You get: A repeatable, scalable product org where priorities are clear and execution is predictable.
For companies shipping AI features reactively, without a coherent strategy. We identify where AI creates genuine value and build a roadmap you actually believe in.
You get: A clear, defensible AI product strategy. Not bolt-ons, but a real roadmap for where your product needs to go.
For founders and executives navigating inflection points who need a thought partner that has actually been in your seat. Regular sessions plus on-demand access when it matters.
You get: A senior operator in your corner, someone who pushes back, not just validates.
For companies that need senior product leadership but aren't ready to hire full-time. Embedded across the org: 1:1s, planning, roadmaps, team rituals, operating as a long-term leader.
You get: Senior product leadership that actually shows up, building direction, capability, and the function itself.
Mohammed Attar is a product and engineering executive with 25 years of experience building and scaling software businesses, from early-stage startups to global enterprise platforms.
Most recently, he was recruited to Stripe to define and scale their product operating model, introducing the planning, review, and launch systems that enable a company of Stripe's caliber to ship consistently at scale, and building the internal systems of record that give product and engineering teams the clarity to execute.
Before Stripe, he spent four years as Chief Product Officer at Front, leading Engineering, Product, Design, Analytics, and Support. He more than doubled the company's recurring revenue, identified and sharpened product-market fit around the support market, established an AI strategy built on human-in-the-loop and deflection-based outcomes, and led the transition from a single-product to an AI-led multiproduct company with usage-based pricing and a hybrid sales-led and PLG go-to-market motion.
Before Front, he was General Manager of Twilio's email platform (SendGrid), with full P&L responsibility over a business he helped grow to $250M+ in revenue serving 100,000+ customers, and led the integration of SendGrid into Twilio to create the world's premier CPaaS platform. He joined SendGrid pre-IPO in 2017 as VP of Engineering and Site Leader, where he led the modernization of the platform from a monolithic, stateful architecture to a fully distributed microservices deployment, scaling throughput from 350 billion to 1 trillion emails processed annually.
Earlier in his career, he spent 12 years at IBM across multiple leadership roles, joining through the acquisition of FileNet where he started as a software engineer. He rose through product and engineering leadership before his final role at IBM, where he led product management for the Watson Data Platform, spanning machine learning, data science, and cloud data services.
"The frameworks Velign brings aren't theoretical. They've been stress-tested at companies where the cost of getting it wrong was real."
